But i dont want that ..... when ever u need to install prog u have to log out and logon locally i dont want that option ..Simply i only want to logon to a server and want to install software on my pc ..... can any one help me plssss ??

Hi,

Take this to your domain administrator - but I doubt She/He is going to give
you admin priviledges on the domain. Likely you will need to logoff the
domain and then onto the machine as a local administrator to install
software.

Or the user account can be given admin privileges for that machine.
That way you can still logon using your regular user account and still
have full access to that box - but not Domain Admin rights to the
domain itself.

Most of us in Support do this on the hundreds of boxes we maintain.
Our segment administrators also have admin rights for the computers in
their sections.

Greetings --

You'll need to contact your domain administrator. If network
policy permits individual users' installing applications on their
workstations, he/she will know how to give your domain account the
necessary privileges.
