typing Chinese and English with my keyboard

I just bought be a Chinese/English keyboard. I want to be able to type on it
Chinese, from my computer at home. Is there a certain program I need to buy
to be able to type Chinese? I heard you only have to use your Shift and Ctrl
key to change from English to Chinese. Is this correct? I want to be able
to type Chinese and Engish at the same setting. You know like; type one line
Chinese and then the next English!!!

Will you please help me and let me know what I need to do to get my keyboard
to work?

what u heard is right go to control panel and then regionol and language
options and configure them to get the results u want
