typefont updates

The commercial printer I use to print our newsletter says
that they are having font issues with 3 typefaces; Arial,
Arial Narrow and Times Roman, and that I should be able
to go to the Microsoft website and downlaod the latest
versions of these so the font issues won't reoccur. Is
the printer correct? If so, how do I download the latest
fonts?
