hey...just looking for some help.my twunk files and twain
files are coping themselves when i try to delete.do i
need them?if so,why?and if not how can i delete them?and
why are they coping?

You are shift-clicking and making a very slight movement of the multiple
selection which makes a copy automagically. Better to right-click a
single file and delete one at a time. This is a known "feature" of XP.

Don't delete files that you are not sure about. There is little to be
gained, and much to regret if you delete something you might need now or
later.

Trunk and Twain files are control files for Imaging devices (ie: scanner,
web cam, ditial cameras). They may be considered to be system files in XP
and XP will always restore/replace/copy them back to their original
locations.
