I'm having some trouble here and I could really use some
help. Earlier I noticed that my desktop was really slow in
bringing up programs as was the internet in bringing up
sites. I checked how my processor was doing and it was
being used at 100%. I then saw that there were several
duplicate programs running called Dlldate.exe and they
were taking all my processor's speed. I removed them but
they kept appearing after a few seconds. I then did a
virus scan with Norton and it found I had 3. There was a
IRC trojan, and what I believe was a Welchia worm and some
other one (can't remember). The Welchia was in
Dllhost.exe. I deleted the two besides the Welchia and
tried to do the same to that but it wouldn't let me do it
with the program running. I removed Dllhost and then
deleted the Welchia. I then regretted that decision since
that file may have been important and I didn't know about
the removal tool yet but I still had internet lag and my
CPU was slow. A few minutes later I got the tool and
removed the svchost.exe file and ran it again to make sure
I got all the files but I still have the problems. Please
tell me what I can do to fix them and what the Dllhost
file was for, whether I need it back, and where I might
find it. Thanks for taking the time to read all this and
for your replies.
