two things: show status bar? sent to notepad

S

Scotter

Two things I used to do in XP.
One was I'd find the "send to" folder and put a shortcut to Notepad.exe in
there.
The other was to turn on status bar at the bottom of all windows so if I
were to highlight some files, at the bottom of the window I would see
something like, "5 files selected - 280KB".

Haven't been able to find this in Vista 64 Ultimate yet.
Please help?

Hi Scotter,

1) Click start, type 'shell:sendto' and hit enter. Add your notepad shortcut
to this folder.

2) Click view/status bar in Windows Explorer.
