I have installed a new harddrive (fdisk, format and clean install of Win XP Pro)
Now when I boot my computer at startup screen always appears and ask me which windows system to I want to start:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional
or
Microsoft Windows

I want to automatically always boot to Win XP. How do I get rid of the second option.

Hello. Ho to start/control panel/system/advanced and hit the start up and
recovery option. Now unchecked the box that says "time for displaying ...?
and click "OK." Good luck.

I believe you may have a dual boot, see link below and check if you fit one
of the configurations. Info on editing the boot menu is also available from
the web page.
