Two quick questions

Try a system restore. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System
Restore. You should have a least one to
fall back to.
 
I've just restored my pc to factory settings and noticed that when i'm on the
'all programs' list i right click and press open/explore nothing happens,
even though i'm expecting windows explorer to open.

Second question, just installed IE7 and the icon on the start menu has
disappeared. I've gone into properties and turned the IE7 on/off but that
doesn't bring the icon back. Can someone help?
