Two Questions?

Hi. I have two questions that I hope someone can help me out with. First
one is: Is there a newsgroup for Windows XP that deals with networking
issues?? And if so, can someone kindly give me a link to it or where i can
write to them?
Second question: Is there a way to post questions in these newsgroups while
offline and if so, how does one go about doing it?
Thanx for the help!

Yes - microsoft.public.windowsxp.networking_web

That will depend on your newsreader program you are using.
But as a rule yes you can reply offline they will stay in a pending/outbox
folder until you reconnect.
Thanx for the help!

why dont you use OUTLOOK EXPRESS as your newsreader program? this is what I
am doing now...

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/guide/nntpnews.mspx

you can download the new messages and then turn off the internet and reply
at your own time,
then when you connect your messages will be sent.

If you need help on how to setup outlook express to work as a newsreader
post here and I will reply

I thought I was using Outlook Express as my newreader program. I have quite
a few newsgroups downloaded in Outlook Express. Mostly Win98 and WinXP as
those are the two versions I have on my computers. I noticed i didn't have
a newsgroup for networking in XP so that is why i asked if there was one.
I'm having a problem getting on-line with my WinXP machine which is hooked
up through a lynksys USB adapter picking up signals from my microsoft
wireless 802.ll g router. Was working fine until just the other day and
for some reason, I can't get on-line anymore. Please let me know if I am
posting through Outlook Express as that is what I click on when i read and
post in here. Thanx Patty

You are using Outlook express. In that you can get headers for a group,
then mark ones which you want to read and go on line to get the content.
Go off line, read them and compose replies. They will be in your Outbox
to get sent next time you do a Send/Receive on the account
