Open Folder Options...
Start | Run | Type: control folders | OK |
File types tab | Highlight Folder under Registered file types |
Advanced button | Highlight Open | Default button | OK |
Apply | OK

Default button
[[Sets the selected command as the command to be carried out when the file
is invoked.
The default command for the file is shown in bold on the shortcut menu for
the file. ]]
---

Does double clicking open Search also? If so, do one of these first...

Right click file, select send to, then there should be an option to send to CDRW.
