Two questions about Outlook 2000

Hello there everyone,

In one of my old computers I still use Outlook 2000, it worked greatly until
a couple of weeks ago. Now everytime I try to see a full-size-view message,
Outlook stops working and I can not see the message, it goes all blank. I
left the computer on for so many hours with that opened message thinking
that perhaps after a while it would open correctly but it didn't, the only
option is to close Outlook is to do a ctrl+alt+del. The thing is that I can
see that Outlook is working on the back as it keeps doing something (as
showed on that screen where you can see what tasks are running in your
computer, normally the CPU goes to 90-99% when that error happens when
opening the message full-view, but eventhough leaving the computer on for 10
hours the message is not able to see it properly and the Outlook 2000 seems
crashed). --- I must say that I can see all emails using the
preview-window.

If I do outlook.exe /safe , then there is no problem at all, I see all
emails with preview-window and full-size view. I tried to make an office
repair but it didn't work. Also a checkdisk of the whole hard-disk and
nothing happened either, no errors found. Going to Windows safe mode, it
also works just fine with outlook.exe /safe .... all the messages are seen
just fine.

And the second question here:

I use the Outlook-calendar in two computers. One in this old one with
Outlook 2000 and the lap-top with Outlook 2007. I can "transfer or
synchronise" information from one place to another, just exporting the
calendar.pst from O2000 and then importing the pst file to O2007. Okay,
that is easy buuuut then what I want to do next is to add only NEW tasks to
the other calendar in O2007 and viceversa ... not sure if I am making sense
here ???? - I don't think there isn't an option to only transfer new
information when I do the exporting/importing thing - is it ???? ... I might
be mistaken though.

Thanks for the help provided !!!
Have all a good day !

Regards,
Jordi

Working ok using the safe switch would tend to indicate that an add-in is
misbehaving, the usual culprits being integrated AV software and sync
software
