These both started about a month ago, do not know if they are connected
1. When I first open MY MSN, it is a blank page with l> in the upper right corner. If I close the broswer and reopen it, the symbol goes away until the browser is closed for a lenght of time. (the browser operates normal at that time
2. I can no longer do a word search from the address bar. If I type a complete url in, it works fine. When I do a word search, the following junk shows up in the address bar. http:///? (and whatever word I search for) Example---- autozone would come up as http:///? autozone --------- Of course it says it can't find page
Thanks in advance for any ideas to cure these.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
