Two Personal Folders - Identical in Content

I have two personal folders. I should only have one. When I delete mail in
one it deletes in the other. Both have exaclty the same structure and
content within the sub-folders.

Can any advise me how I can safely get rid of one of them. (They both look
like the default).

The easiest way to fix the issue of "ghost" .PST files is to create a new
mail profile from scratch. You can do this via Control Panel | Mail | Show
Profiles.

Create a new mail profile - yours is corrupt.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, bolero asked:
