I am using the Show Presenter View with my laptop and a projector. I need
to know how to make the Mouse pointer active on the projector screen. I
have some action settings associated with graphics that require me to point
to them and click the left Mouse button.

Oh rats! You're right, and my testing was sloppy. Looks like you're not
going to be able to use the Presenter's View. It appears to be a two screen
task and the mouse can't be used on the Slide Show view, nor can you toggle
to the Slide Show view to give it focus. The controls on the Presenter's
View are very basic and don't allow mouse clicks.

Well, I did some more testing. If you point to the projector and click on
the hyperlink twice (once to change focus and once to actually activate the
hyperlink) I think you'll get what you want. Could you give that a try and
let me know?
