Two instances OL2003 loading!

When I click on my OL2003 icon, two instances of Outlook load! The target properties had the /recycle command line option, but I tried it without that and it still opens two instances. Running on XP. Anyone have an idea what is causing this? Can't find help on this on Office Assistance.

This odd behavior has gone away. Worked like this for almost a week, then yesterday late it stopped. Weird.
