Two Contacts Folders

I have two contacts folders in my address list in Outlook 2003. The
first one in the list is empty. The second one has the data. How do
I eliminate the first one so that when I click on "To" in an e-mail
the contacts list with the data will open?

Which one is the default folder? Are they both in the same PST?

When I click on "To:" the address book comes up with two contact items
listed below it. The first one is apparently empty. The second one
has my data in it. If I click on the second one, then the list of
people, and e-mail addresses, etc. becomes available to select from.
I hope that answers your question.

Ah! I know what you're seeing now. Remove the Outlook Address Book service
from your profile, shut Outlook down, restart it, and add the service back
in. You may need to reenable the Contacts folder as an address book. That
should cure the problem.

Thanks much. That was indeed the problem.
