Two CD burners, but only one will work

I have one CD-RW, and one DVD/CD-RW combo drive, but
WinXP will only let me use either of them as a burnable
drive at a time. If I allow recording on one drive, it
turns off the other, back and forth. Is there anyway to
get it to recognize both of them as burnable drives?

You can only enable CD recording for one device at a time.

This is normal, but if you use a third party burning program suah as nero
you can burn to any of them at anytime. Without changing the enable settings.
