TV Wonder Pro

Hello all -

I just installed my TV Wonder Pro on my new PC. i have tons of memory (1
gig) and tons of disk space, etc. I'm running XP Pro, latest service pack,
latest directX, all that good stuff.

Anyway, i'm running the TV app just fine. the only problem is that the
audio is always out of sync with the video. the audio is ahead of video.
this is quite annoying.

Any way i can tweak this? this begins immediately when i start the program.

Are you using MMC 8.2 that came with the card or 8.8 from ATI's site? I
suggest
using 8.2 for now because 8.8 has some compatability problems with audigy
cards (for example).

I am also having out of sync problems with my new TV Wonder PRO when I
try to record anything. Watching is OK. It doesn't matter if I am
running 2K or XP or if HT is turned off or on.

This card has a lot of audio problems that I noticed as soon as I
bought the card in 11/03. I called ATI about the problem where Stereo
signal was detected and I had to manually enable BOTH in the audio
context menu and then Stereo, in order to receieve Stereo on 1/3 to
1/2 the channels.. They told me to RMA but I didn't think it was the
hardware.

Sure enough, a month later, ATI posted a "we are working on it
advisory. Since then it has been one problem after another problem
with this card. Hopefully these are new product driver issue, that
can be fixed.
