I have a airlink101 tv tuner/capture card that uses the Conexant 23881
the device manager(vista x86) shows the card and there is NO yellow
question marks.
Airlink101 ATVPCI883 Tuner

AVerMedia AVerTV MPEG Crossbar (Dual-Input)

Conexant 23881 Video Capture (Cx23881 for Japan Final release)(vista
found it)

But when I go to media and click on tv setup it gives a pretty aeroglass
message "tuner not found..."
vista found the drivers that I am using ,but they must not work.
Does anyone have the above card or a card using the Conexant 23881 chip
if so what driver are you using.
And before anybody tells me to contact airlink ,I have delt with them
with the windows x64 bit and they do not have new drivers and they made
my list of companys i will never buy from again.

I doubt that card will work with Vista Media Center.
MSFT made the requirement for "real-time" MPEG 2 encoding as a basis for a
card to be used in Media Center 2005. I believe this requirement is in Vista
also.

Thank you for your reply!
Airlink101 website (ATVPCI883 TV Tuner/Video Capture PCI Adapter)
said it is "Real-time recording in MPEG 4 / 2 / 1 compression format "
it took a while for me to get that card to do anything in the win xpx64
bit .i'll muddle around some more .If i get anything out of it i will
post how it was done.

Cool, I hope you get it to work. I have never had luck with any device that
uses the "Aver MPEG Crossbar"
