TV-OUT problem

i have an ATI 7500 card with an s-vid out. s-vid to tv works perfectly
fine. however, when i use a s-vid to composite adapter, the setting in
displays isn't even highlighted, so it can't be activated. now, i know my
s-vid to composite cables are alright because they worked perfectly with my
geforce card. anyone have any hacks to 'force' the card to have tv-
out?...thanks.

That's the exact same problem I'm having, however I haven't been able
to actually check a direct s-vid connection. My adapter however works
fine on my geForce. Good luck getting an answer out of this group.
They seem to kind of abandon us users that don't have the new
$4,000,000 cards. Oh well. I know ATi sells their own adapter, and
it's only $5 (with another $15 shipping from that Canada place) but I
have yet to get a good answer on whether or not that's the problem.

I own a 3rd party (sapphire) 8500 which does not have a composite out, but
merely the s-vid. I know of the cable which "worked perfectly" for the
geforce. That is not an industry standard cable and would not be expected
to work for any other electronics device other than the geforce cards. I
have used a 7500 3rd party in the past (but am unaware of the brand) and
the composite out was mounted on the card itself, along side the s-vid.
