turning on and off problems

Hi can anyone help with this problem?? When I turn the computer off, the pc
turns back on itself ... Can u give me some advice of what is going on with
this as I am losing sleep .. Princess

When shutting it down, select "Shut down" rather than "Restart".

Turn on your PC and goto into BIOS (CMOS) setup by pressing DEL (or key
required by your BIOS). Maybe under Power Management options, check the
Resume by Alarm Option. Disable the funtion if it is enable. Furthermore, if
you are using Hibernation feature to Turn Off the PC then check the Schedule
Tasks and delete unnecessary schedules through Start - All Programs -
Accessories - System Tools.

Furthermore, you should also Turn Off your UPS. That way no option can turn
on your pc automatically. Do not switch off the main supply, just the UPS.

If this doesn't help then let us know what method you use to turn off your PC.
