turning off pc

when i attempt to turn of my pc widows gets as far as 'windows is shutting
down' and then feezes. I have xp 2 installed - any ideas please

hi chris lee. we have same problem for turn off the pc. but you can do this
optional in yur task bar right side click arrow to brows all program working
try to find the one icon safely remove hardware double click that one then in
the box safely removal hardware try to stop all this. then u can turn off yur
pc properly. that only an option if theres something problem for booting.

If nothing else works then you can force window to shut down To do this,
hold down the CTRL key and click SHUT DOWN.
