Hi, Prior to Windows 2000 Pro starting up there is a
screen that allows user to select the OS, it is a timed
selection. what are the steps to disable this screen from
re-appearing everytime I boot up. Thanks in advance.

You can change the time it displays.
-1 will make it appear indefinitely
0 will make it not appear (or at least not make it appear for long!)
A value greater than 0 will make it appear for that many seconds.

Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Go to the Advanced tab
Click Startup and Recovery
Change the value for "Display a list of operating systems..."

Or I suppose you can just uncheck the option and whichever default operating
system you have setup up above will be the one that loads.

Ray at work

Right Click on "My Computer"
Choose Advanced --> Startup and Recovery --> uncheck "Display list of operating systems
for..."
