Turning off dual booting.

I reformatted my computer this morning and reinstalled WinXP. Now when I turn
the computer on, I get asked to pick which OS I want to boot into, the only
choices being "WinXP" and "WinXP" again.

How do I turn this off so it will just boot into XP on it's own?

start/run
type in msconfig
click the "boot.ini" tab
click "check all boot paths"
that should remove the XP that does not exist

try this . right click on my computer, go to properties, then advanced tab,
then click the settings tab under start up and recovery. next you will see
where it says to edit the start up menu manually click edit. This is where
you will see the second entry winxp. Just delete the second one from the note
pad and poof it will be gone
