Turning a 40 Slide PPt Pitch into Something Less

I have a 40 slide ppt pitch from a professional group pitch I'd like to
reduce to about 10 slides. Is there some way of doing that without
editing out the slides I don't need?

I have less than 3 weeks experience. From what I had been poking around with
the PPT, here is what I found out :
Click the slide you don't want > click Slide Show > Hide Slide

I believe you misread to original request as converting to video has nothing
to do with needed solution.
