Looping with PPt 2003

I'd like to loop on the first three slides of my show. Each slide should
show about 5 seconds. Eventually, I want to break out of the three and
move into the rest of the slides. How does one do that in 2003?

Interestingly, if I try to print the web pages I would get 13. The
author conveniently provided a 7 page pdf; however, when I print that,
the figures are all black. I'm using a b/w printer, Brother 1440. I've
seen this happen before. Any ideas?

Sorry, no ideas there. You could try printing from the web and trying the
'shrink to fit' options in the print preview (also just highlighting the bit
you want and selecting 'print selection' can really reduce waste). Exactly
how depends on your browser.

Well, oddly when I tried printing the pdf on my HP C6000 color printer
via its print menu, the figures and text were all black. The figures
were solid black, as with the Brother 1440 b/w printer. Everything I see
on my screen (Acrobat Pro) or in my MS window shows color. I'm using
FireFox.

I just printed a single page from FF to the HP, and it came out in
color. I think I need to go to an Acrobat NG to see why it selects b/w.

Too easy. There's a check box for black on the print dialog, which is a
default. Never encountered that before.
