Turned on Network Sharing, and now no computers can share

I went from local file sharing to turning on network sharing, thinking that was the right direction. After a reboot, the non-configured PCs can no longer PING the changed (XP) system. If they can't PING, they can't share. All three machines can get to www.yahoo.com with no problem, via a hub/router which is connected to the cable modem. Physically nothing has changed, but they are no longer recognizing each other.

I give up

How do I un-do network sharing? I happened to use the Microsoft wizard so I'm not sure what steps to change manually.

Any ideas?

my suggestion is that you do a system restore on the
computer that you changed the settings. if you have
windows xp you go to start>accesssories>system
tools>system restore. choose to restore computer to
earlier date. pick a date maybe 5 to six days before you
changed your settings. this should fix your problem. thanks
(e-mail address removed) good luck
