I use Windows XP -- How do I stop this file folder with
its file listings from coming up on my screen when I
start up my computer?? It just started doing this and I
don't know how to stop it. Typically, I close the
Sytem32 file folder and do my work or re-boot, but the
next time I start my computer it comes back up again as
the starting screen on my computer.

any solutions??

Yes, possible solution. It's been noted that this can
occur if one of the startup options is blank, or missing
a file name, or perhaps the file doesn't exist.
Go into msconfig/startup and see if you can find it.
If not, look in the registry for such an item at this key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
