Turn Off Underlining on Desktop Icons?

Not a big deal, but I notice that on one of my login accounts the text on
the desktop icons is underlined. On other accounts the icons are not
underlined--which looks much better I think. I've googled and looked into
the usual visual effects for the desktop, but I can't find how to turn off
the icon underlining for that one desktop. Anybody happen to know how?

Open a window, click Tools > Folder Options > General (tab) under Click
items as follows select "Double-click to open an item (single-click to
select).
