turn off saved searches...please help

Does anyone know how to turn off the save searches on windows vista, so that
when i type something my previous searches dont come up?

It doesn't save previous searches though? Do you mean the search bar in
Internet Explorer? If you go to Help and Support on the Start Menu and
search 'Autocomplete', it will tell you how to get rid of previous searches.

Yeah I meant in the search bar. I found where to delete them but not how to
turn them off...do you know how to. The search only told me how to delete
them.

Control Panel > Internet Options > Content tab > AutoComplete Settings.
Untick the things you want to turn off.
