turn off my documents cache

anyone know how to turn off the cache in the my documents
window?

i'd like to either clear it or turn it off completely if
anyone knows how to do either of those things plz post.

Cache? Could you be referring to 'My Recent Documents'?

If so, right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. Choose the Start
Menu tab and click the Customize button. Select the Advanced tab and remove
the checkmark from 'List my most recently opened documents'.
