Click Start > Run...> Type "gpedit.msc" then press Enter
Expand the "Local Computer Policy" branch
Expand the "Administrative Templates" branch
Expand the ""windows Components" branch
Click on "Windows Messenger"
Follow instructions on the right hand side window to
disable the Windows messenger
