TURN OFF COMPUTER

Hello Community ~

I don't know what I did but now when I go to start and to turn off computer
I don't see the "STAND BY" "RESTART" "TURN OFF" buttons anymore. Instead I
get this drop down shoot asking me what to do. And ind in start menu it says
SHUT DOWN. instead of TURN OFF COMPUTER. How can I change this back to the
normal way......? I tried sytem restore but it could'nt do it.

Turn on Welcome Screen:
Start > Run > control userpasswords > Change the way us.... > Tick "Use welcome
screen"

paswords" "change the way us.... Tick use welcome screen. Am I'm supose to
type something in the run box...? I'm sorry could you be more clear about
this directions answeres for me. I'm not the best at this stuff I know. Thank

Yes type :
"control userpasswords" (without quotes) in Start > Run.

Alternate method:
Control Panel > User accounts > Change the way users log on and off > Tick "Use
welcome screen" > Click OK > Close Window

Go to Start-Control Panel-User Accounts and change the way Users log in to
use the Welcome screen.
 
Dear Ayush ~
It only worked when i omitted the "userpassword" in the run box and just
typed in control. You gave me the more difficult route of doing it. It would
have been easier if you would have just told me to go to "control pannel" and
clicked user acccounts. For future reference.
