I have windows XP and for some reason my "Turn Off Computer" option is no
longer in Start Menu. Can anyone please help me how to put it back there
again?
Thanks,
Joaquim F. Ribeiro

Joaquim,

Open Registry Editor and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

In the right-pane, double-click "NoClose" and set it to 0.

Repeat the same in this registry key (if the "NoClose" value exists)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
