tsshutdn Problems

ever since upgrading to XP SP2 I have had the following error when trying to
shut down remotely using tsshutdn.


Error opening Terminal server *ComputerName*
Error [5]:Access is denied.



Any Ideas?

What is the server OS? Probably this is the new Windows Firewall and/or the
enhanced protection for RPC calls, if the server is running XP SP2. You
might need to read the SP2 release notes about RPC.

If you've been running as an authenticated user, but not as admin on the
target machine, I think this would explain it--I've seen this myself but
haven't tested further to see what is happening--if I run into it again,
I'll do some more testing.
