TS Client gives error message when attempting log-on

After installing TS Client software on Win 2000
workstation (high end 1.8 gb Pentium 4), we attempted to
log on but an error msg immediately pops up
stating, "MSTSC.EXE has generated errors and will be
closed by the program. Restart the program." Of course,
restarting causes the same error msg. The TSC
installation software is known to be good. Ideas?

The TSC software is typically in c:\windows\system32
\client\tsclient. By the way, if this doesn't work, you
might want to try the latest and greated RDP client,
instead of the Windows 2000 one...
