this is the error message i get when i try to start the
setup:
"A required .DLL file, 3/4U.DLL, was not found."
one thing you must know first. tonight i just installed
win98 onto a new drive and restored what i backed up from
my old drive/win98 settings. i had not manually run winxp
setup before re-installing, but i do remember the autorun
program running which was a screen that had choices for
operations. could that have been setup.exe?
what would this error message mean? what files should i
replace or delete? does this make sense?
