Trying to resurrect outlook

M

Mary Hartman

I am trying to reassemble Outlook data from a damaged disk.

I have imported every .pst file that I can find. I have gathered
every .pab and .wab file I could find. This is an older computer
first put in service in 1999 and updated and updated and updated to XP
and Office 2003.

The last place I can think of looking for contacts I can't find is in
the old 2000 Contact Manager; however, I don't know what the file
extension for that is.

Can someone help with that and maybe also give me some more ideas of
where to look. There are supposed to be many hunderds of contacts on
this disk from the machine, but I have been able to find only 2.

Thank you

Contacts are stored in your PST file. They don't have their own file

Outlook no longer uses PAB and WAB files. Outlook 2003 can't use WAB files
at all, but it can import PABs.
