Trying to re-install XP upgrade from original disk after restore t

Because I wanted to eliminate all the garbage accumulated on my system from
programs long gone I did a restore. After restoring my laptop to its
original state from the store, I am unable to re-install the XP upgrade.

The install will not accept the "Product Key" code from my upgrade disk. It
says it is invalid.

Try looking at what the key is now.
