Trying to install Vista Home Premium "Help!"

I ran the advisor and it said I can install vista but after putting in the
upgrade disk and choosing install the install thinks for a minaut than
reports my PC is not ACPI complient. My computer driver in device manager is
set to standard PC, my bios is set to ACPI aware OS...... Help
