trying to install Update for Windows Vista (KB936825)

Hi,

I do indeed have a problem with my SD card being recognized on my HP
computer. I bought this computer with Windows Vista Home Premium already
installed. When I try to install Update for Windows Vista (KB936825) it
tells me it is not for my computer. I don't understand. It says this
update is for Windows Vista. Could it be that "for Windows Vista" does not
include "Windows Vista Home Premium?"

Could it be that "for Windows Vista" does not include "Windows Vista Home
Premium?"

No it doesn't mean that above.

If the computer has been brought recently for someone like Dell, HP, Compaq,
etc, etc, then you should contact their tech support, as you have a software
warrantee with them, which they should support to resolve the issue you're
having with software.
 
Thanks, I will try to contact HP once again but they haven't resolved one
issue with this computer yet. Even after hours of support. It's just a
lesson in futility.

By any chance do you already have KB 933847 already installed on your system? You can check by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Then click 'View Installed Updates'.
