trying to find outlook 2002 translator as have lost original disk

i am trying to export my contacts from outlook 2002 into a csv format to then
transfer all to another mail provider, and have lost original disk, can
anyone help???

The Importers and Exporters tools are installed by default when you install
Office or Outlook, so if you deliberately left them out and now don't have
them, you'll need an installation disk from the exact Office suite or Outlook
version you have currently in order to install them.

I'm having the same problem, but Outlook 2002 was pre-installed on my
Toshiba. I have the original disks, but none of them refer to MS Outlook.
Is there no way round this ?

If you use Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs and select Microsoft Office,
then Change, it should give you the option to add or remove features. Ass the
Importers and Exporters. It shoulld ask for the correct disk if it needs one.
You can insert the disk it requests.

of Office installed - only Access 2003, OneNote 2003, Outlook 2002 and Word
2002. I remember buying Access, but the others must have come preloaded.
There's no option under Add or Remove Programs to Change any of these
components - and as I said, no original discs were supplied.

On another tack, I have access to another machine with a later version of
Outlook on it. What steps would I have to take to move my current Contacts
file to that machine and then do an Export to CSV ?

If physical disks weren't supplied, then a way to make them may have been,
such as a partition on the hard drive that contains the images of the disks.
Check the original documentation.

Simply copy your PST to another PC with Outlook and the exporters and
importers installed and open the copied PST in that Outlook (File>Open>Outlook
Data File). Export with File>Import and Export>Export to a file.
