Trying to delete search bar history in XP

I know how to delete the address bar history, but I do not know how to delete
the history of my home page(Google) search bar. If I double-click the cursor
on the bar, every search word that I've ever typed in the bar appears in a
drop down box. How do I delete these search words? Please help! Thanks!

Click the Down arrow next to "GOOGLE" on the bar.
you will see: "clear search history" there.

I believe that it is part of the auto complete feature. You can clear them
all (including non Google) by going to tools/internet options/content/auto
complete.

To delete only Google do as follows. Go the Google search bar and double
click. Move cursor down to the first item. Press and hold the delete key.
You may have to do this a few times to clear them all. If you don't want to
save any new ones go to tools as indicated above.
