trying to burn movie maker file to DVD

I created a simple "movie" thru movie maker that is a series of jpg files
running almost like a slide show. I need to burn it to DVD. I don't have a
DVD burner but I took the file to a nieghbor and tried it there. My dvd
player (or his player) would not read it.

Should I be saving the project to the hard disk first, What format should I
use when saving to the hard drive. Then what are the setings when I convert
it into a readable DVD format?

Should I be using DVD-R or DVD+R to complete this project. Are there any
other gotcha I should know before I proceed. I need the flexibility to use
this on many types of TV with a DVD player connected.

Also do you know of a low cost external DVD burner that might help me along.

Thanks,
DougL

If you are running Vista...disregard
this message.

For still images...PhotoStory 3 would
be a better choice of software.

Back to your current Movie Maker Project...
are you working with the .mswmm project file
or did you save the project as a .wmv or
..avi movie file? (FWIW...the .mswmm file
does not include the source files)
