Trying to burn a one page document to CD, No can do, Help please

See above topic. I put in my CD as always before and tried to copy a
document to the CD and up comes this message (Incorrect Function)
what do I need to do?

Save the document to the hard disk and close it. Then use your CD burning
software and copy the file to the CD.
