Trust Relationships/Computer Names

Hello,

I'm running a Windows 2000 Adv Srvr SP4 with Windows XP Pro SP2 clients.
On one of my notebook clients, I started getting trust relationship errors
when trying to logon to the domain. I went ahead and removed the computer
name from AD & removed the client from the domain and joined it to a local
workgroup. I then turned around and joined it back to the domain but still
get the trust relationship error when logging on. I then removed the
computer name from AD again and re-joined the client to a local workgroup
again. I then changed the computer name and joined it back to the domain and
now am able to logon to the domain. However, the computer name doesn't show
in AD and it's been 2 hours since. Why?

If you have multiple dc's (Remote site?) delegation hasn't kicked in and you
are attached to a dc that hasn't been replicated. Or you are looking in the
wrong location.

Do a search from the domain root for the computer object name, if found,
double click on it and select the object tab and in there it will show wher
the object resides.
