trust relationship issues with workstation and primary domain

Hello,

Im running Win 2000 Server and have an issue with some of
my workstations.
I recently added three new workstations on my intranet
running the same OS as the rest of the workstations...XP
Professional.
I can have these workstations access the server but when
it comes to accessing other computers on the network I
receive an error:
workstation is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use the network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions.
The trust relationship between this workstation and the
primary domain failed.

I connected them to the network as I did with the other
workstations that work. I created the user accounts
prehand and the three new workstations joined the domain
just fine.
The network worked fine with the three original
workstations. I have a 10 client access right server
2000 copy. The client access rights are for per server
and have been changed to accomodate the three new
workstations.
I have disabled the firewall on the XP workstations or
else a connection cannot be made.
I dont know what to do now. I dont understand why Im
receiving this error.
If I go to My Network Places and do a search for one of
these workstations, I can find it but I cant access the
computer it gives me an error:
You do not have the appropiate access rights for this
server. For more information, contact your network
administrator.
Well, when I go to the server, everything looks good.
All workstations are there and in the right place. I only
have one server and one domain. Even from the server I
can't access these three new computers. All joined the
domain fine. ID and passwords worked fine when joining.
Can Anyone HELP! Please.
Maybe there is something you know that I hanen't tried.
Any suggestions are well appreciated.
Thank You,
Daren

Got File and printersharing loaded?
Does the ipconfig/all show that everything is pointing to your server-IP?

I found the following instructions in another subject...It relates to my
home network difficulty, described in the end of this message.

"Open up Internet Explorer and attempt to view one of the other computers
using the following syntax: \\workstation\c$. If this works....then you know
you have a permissions issue"

I tried this and it worked. So, I know I have a permissions issue. The
question is now: How do I solve this issue??? Am copying to the responder,
in the hope he can more easily help me.

I have a server running W2k, connected to the internet
through an ADSL, working fine. My laptop (running XP
Home) accesses the internet through this server (which is
running WinProxy 4.0) with no problems. I can also ping
the server from the laptop and vice-versa. The problem is
that I can see the laptop from the server´s "Network
Places" but am not able to see the server from the
laptop. The error message says that I am not authorized
to access the server and that it is not configured for the
transaction. This not only stops me from using my network
printer from the laptop but makes it very difficult to
work in this small, home, network. I had everything
working fine, installed by default, but had to format and
re-install both the server and the laptop, and cannot find
the solution, now. Anybody has any ideas or suggestions,
please?
