Truncation when exporting to Word from an Access 2003 report

Hello - there seems to be a lot of discussion about this over the years, but
after reading a ton of articles I still can't find the solution to my
particular problem.

I have a report that is created by running a query from a form submit. User
inputs from the form define the actual query parameters... When the report
is subsequently generated within Access 2003, there are no problems - all
fields appear in their entirety.

The problem comes in when I export this report to MS Word. There is a field
(created as a Memo field in the source table) that is truncated (or just
plain cut-off) when the report is rendered in Word. There seems to be no
rhyme or reason to where the field may cut off. For example, the first
record may have only 60 characters in one on the Memo fields, but it is cut
off in the exported report after 50 characters. The second record may have
200 characters in the same field but it is not cut off at all.

Like I said, I've read a lot, but can't find the solution. Thanks so much
for any help with this!

PS - I've read Allen's article (http://allenbrowne.com/ser-63.html) and
thought I may find the solution in the bottom section, but there are only
solutions for exporting to Excel. I need a solution for exporting to Word.
Plus, if it matters, I'm using Access 2003 SP3.

Ok, so no one wants to help out poor little old me. I see how it is
Microsoft community. I will just have to deal with my truncation issue
somewhere else! I blame this whole thing on Bill Gates!!!

John, if MS has not provided a solution, and we cannot pull apart and redo
their software, we can't provide one for you either.

The fact that the community doesn't have a solution for you doesn't mean the
community is the problem.

Allen - I meant no offense. My sincere apologies. I certainly wasn't
suggesting the community is the problem - my issue is a tough one and it's
understandable that there is not a clear solution. I was just lamenting the
fact that my problems are continuing....!

PS - Allen, thanks for your article that I mention in my original post.
While it did not provide the solution it did help me zero in on my exact
problem, and it ruled out some possible solutions.

I have always found that saving a report in .RTF format (as is done with
Publish to Word, as well as Export, depending on the Access version) to be
about the least reliable rendition of the actual Access report format. In
the past, I have had better luck with saving as HTML for reports that the
recipient might need to edit.

For the nearest rendition, print as PDF with one of the many PDF software
packages -- there is even a free one called PDF Creator at Source Forge, but
you'll need to evaluate any of them to assure yourself that they do what you
want, or save as a Snapshot and use the freely downloadable Snapshot viewer.
