truncated dialog box-Help!

Dialog boxes in Outlook 2002 display truncated. A
Knowledge Base search indicates that a non-standard font
was selected. It was not. I followed the instructions of
the KB entry to change font size to one of the two
standard sizes. It failed to fix the problem. I cannot
set up Outlook. I'm also in the same bind with Windows
Media Player 10. I cannot "I Accept" in order to
activate the program.

XP Service Pack 2, IBM Thinkpad T40, all updates, latest
video driver.

Help?

What is the screen resolution set to? (640x480 is no go these days. min.
800x600 and that is cutting it close)
