Truncated data

I've been using Excel many years actually since it came out.. But I cannot
beleive I have never seen this simple issue.
I'm typing along in a cell, the format is a simple General type. Then some
of the data I typed is cut off like it's truncated. I extend the cell up or
down still truncated. If I make the font real small my data appears, but I
need it bigger. Is there some kind of limit to the number of bits per cell.
ALso, I have already set the Wrap text.

Suggestions???

If you have lots and lots of characters in the cell, you can add alt-enters (to
force new lines within the cell) every 80-100 characters.

And then you'll be able to see lots more characters in that cell.

Yes, there is a limit on visible characters in a cell.

You can enter 32767 chars but only 1024 will be visible or printed.

See Dave P's post for workaround.
